What should you expect from the Chicago market in March? We'll discuss that today as well as some predictions for the spring and summer markets.

In March, the market is actually up compared to last year. In 2016, the market was slow because of some things like the election. However, we actually saw a strong uptick in the market in the first week of January this year. That momentum has continued up until today and will continue going forward. We've had a mild winter here in Chicago and interest rates will rise this year, so if you're looking to sell your house, now is the opportune time.

As we get further into the spring and summer, I expect this trend to continue. We're in a strong market and opportunities are there for you whether you want to buy or sell a home. That same momentum should continue into the spring and summer as well.
